Meka Lucy Brown {BSO}
A Lauderhill woman is facing felony charges after allegedly threatening to cut her estranged husband’s penis off due to her suspicions of infidelity.
According to the arrest affidavit filed by the Lauderhill Police Department, Meka Lucy Brown, 49, was taken into custody on July 23 at her residence located near the 1700 block of Northwest 35th Terrace after officers responded to a 911 call placed by Brown’s husband.
Upon arrival, officers spoke with the victim, who told police that he and Brown were finalizing a divorce when she discovered he was involved with another woman, and allegedly stated, “I will kill you and cut your dick off.”
The report states Brown then retrieved a large silver kitchen knife and used it to slash all four tires of the victim’s vehicle. He also recorded her pacing outside the residence with the knife in hand.
When questioned by officers, Brown admitted to being upset and confirmed she had grabbed the knife, claiming she did so out of fear that the woman her husband was allegedly seeing might show up at the home.
Brown denied slashing the tires, instead accusing the unknown woman of causing the damage, despite no evidence that she had ever arrived at the residence.
Due to the recorded video, physical damage to the vehicle, and witness statements, Brown was arrested and transported to the Broward County Main Jail.
Brown faces a charge of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon in a domestic violence case. She is being held without bond pending her first court appearance.
