Tamarac to Honor Veterans at Annual Ceremony on Nov. 11

The City of Tamarac will pay tribute to America’s heroes during its annual Veterans Day Ceremony on Tuesday, November 11, 2025, at 10:30 a.m. at Tamarac Veterans’ Park, 7825 Southgate Blvd.

Residents are invited to join city officials, veterans, and community members for the patriotic event, which will include a keynote address, musical performances, and remarks from dignitaries. The ceremony honors the courage and dedication of the men and women who have served in the U.S. Armed Forces, recognizing their patriotism and selfless commitment to the nation.

Veterans Honor Wall

As part of the city’s ongoing efforts to recognize local service members, Tamarac has established a Veterans Honor Wall featuring the names, ranks, branches, and years of service of residents who have served in the military. The wall currently includes 1,300 Tamarac veterans across 13 installed panels.

The city encourages veterans or their survivors to apply to be included on the wall. Applications can be completed online at Tamarac.me/HonorWall, or requested by mail by calling 954-597-3620.

Support for Unhoused Veterans

During the ceremony, the Tamarac Veterans Affairs Committee will collect donations of non-perishable food, toiletry items, socks, and hand towels to aid unhoused veterans. Donations may also be dropped off at the Tamarac Parks and Recreation Administration Building, 6001 Nob Hill Road, Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
