The Red Corvette band is bringing its Prince tribute show to Kings Point Palace, promising an evening of the legendary singer’s best hits.
The six-person band is based in Nevada and first met when the lead singer, Donny T, was portraying Prince in “Purple Reign: The Prince Tribute Show” in Las Vegas. The band plays all the favorites, from Purple Rain to When Doves Cry, and Donny, a trained dancer with a degree in musical theatre, delivers all the classic Prince splits, jumps, and spins.
Held on Saturday, January 18, at 8 p.m., the show is $20 for Kings Point residents and $25 for guests, with tickets available online and at the venue’s box office before and on the night of the concert.
The new box office hours are 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday to Wednesday and 8:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Thursdays and Fridays. On Saturdays, tickets can be purchased at the Clubhouse from 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. and at the Palace from 7 to 8:15 p.m.
As a reminder, please note that shorts are prohibited in the theater, and all show attendees must be 18 years or older. Kings Point Palace is open to the public.
The Palace at Kings Point is located at 7622 NW 76th St. in Tamarac.
