{Tamarac Fire Rescue}
A car was engulfed in flames after crashing into a tree in Tamarac Monday morning, authorities said.
One person was injured and rushed to the hospital following the crash involving a white Hyundai Sonata near Westwood Drive.
The Broward Sheriff’s Office is investigating the incident, which caused slight delays on Westwood Drive, according to Tamarac Fire Rescue.
Additional information about the crash and the person’s injuries was not immediately available.
