The new Walmart Neighborhood Market opened its doors Wednesday morning on what was the former site of a Baby Love store and Tamarac residents were welcomed to a ribbon-cutting ceremony that drew both City and Walmart officials along with the JP Taravella Band.

Dogs and owners love the Gary B. Jones Dog Park in Tamarac. Especially when the weather is beautiful and cool like it was this January weekend. There were people from all over visiting with their dogs and the dogs were having the time of their lives hanging out with old and new friends.

The weather was fantastic Monday evening July 4th. as hundreds of residents walked or drove to the Tamarac Sports Complex to spend Independence Day with friends or family. There was live music, an appearance from Uncle Sam and Betsy Ross, bounce houses and activities for children. American Flags were passed out by City of Tamarac employees.
